Each egg had a clue in in which led to the next egg. It didn't take Wren long to catch on! He was excited to find the next egg and off he would go after hearing the clue. Eventually he figured he should read the clues too. Unfortunately it was mostly garbled goo talk followed by 'find the next egg'! Not too helpful as far as clues go, but terribly cute! Eventually the clues led them to their baskets with some sand toys, pjs and a book!!

10 Months
The big 1-0! What a precious little girl!
She found daddy!!
Standing is her favourite way to be!! She loves to practice walking...
10 Months
You are mobile! Very early on this month, you
started walking with the walker. You quickly caught on and were doing laps
around the house with it in no time! You also started crawling early this
month. You only crawl army style. You are not a big fan of crawling, but are
happy with the mobility it gives you. You also walk easily around furniture.
You also took your first steps! You love walking and practicing walking back
and forth between people. Your record by the end of this month was 13 steps! You
can pull yourself to standing using only a few pieces of furniture (including
the bath tub).
You still sleep through the night (yippee)! You
wake up around 7, then take a nap at 10, then again at 2:30 and go to bed at
7:30. You still nurse 5 times and still love food. You eat basically whatever
the rest of us are eating. You stopped signing ‘more’ choosing to scream to get
your food and when I ask you to say ‘more’, you scream louder. You like to wave
hi and it seems like you can say daddy (or your own version…dadadadedee). You
say mom when you are upset. You now have 3 teeth (top right is in). You really
like when I do “round and round the garden” on your hand and then tickle you –
you have a big smile on your face when I start then rhyme! You took your first
legit wagon ride and loved it! Wren even pulled you around for a bit. You like
touching the grass with your hands and keep trying to eat it. We had lots of
play dates this month, although you slept through most of them being that they
are in the morning. You are still taking a nap at church in the morning, which
is great for routine!

Cabin time!
Building a fort with the perfect snow!
Pause for a picture...
And down it comes...wish I could have captured Colin's expression. When Wren had accomplished pushing the whole thing down, he looked at colin and said, can you please build it again!
No fish today.
Thanks grandma and grandpa for this great new room with high ceilings! weee!

Reading like daddy
He climbed into our bed, snuggled under the covers, and grabbed daddy's book. I've got a great video of him 'reading' this book. I'll try to post it sometime!
Play dates!
Had a great visit with great grandma Franzmann!
Auntie Debbie had Wren in stitches laughing so hard! He was wiped out after playing with her!
Thanks auntie Jess and uncle Tyler for a yummy lunch and a great visit!
Story time with Julia!
