Checking out the Sites!

  

Colin arrived later that week and we went for some site-seeing. Wren did a good job travelling and sleeping while we did the tours, although we were hoping he'd start to get fussy on the one tour so we'd have a legit excuse to leave... Here we are at Casa Grande ruins, which we found out that they restored and then sprayed cement over everything to preserve it...so we didn't actually get to see too much!

Made it to Arizona!

Wren and I headed out on February 18th to go visit my parents in Arizona. We were up extra early (thanks Wren) and made it to the airport with lots of time to spare. Our first plane took us to Vancouver, then we were off to Phoenix. Wren did wonderful on the planes! Once there, it was so nice to not have to wear jackets, or worry about bundling him up to go outside. Wren learned what 'getting fresh air' is all about! It wasn't hot when we first got there, but eventually warmed up.

I think we've got everything! Wren and I are heading down to Arizona to visit his grandparents (G&G Franzmann). Colin will join us in a few days! We're so excited!!

4 Months!

  

He is now grabbing and putting everything that he can into his mouth. On Valentines Day he rolled for the first time! I didn't catch it on camera, but there were witnesses!

First Swim

Wren and I went on a women's retreat to Camp Arnes with our church (and Wren was allowed to come even though he was the only male there!!) Wren took his first swim in the pool there. He wasn't sure what to think about it. He was amazed at the reflections in the water and the big large room!  He thought was fun, but not nearly as fun as his bathtub.
