This was probably the most tiring month so far! I tried sleep training you at the beginning of the month and it was not the magic I was hoping for. All month was a bit of a battle. Your naps improved now sometimes being able to nap for 2 hours at times. Then we tried sleep training again at the end of the month and it was even worse. Even your naps were being affected. You transitioned to mostly have 3 naps. Since you weren’t sleeping well at night, you were more fussy during the day. Although if I was holding you, you were a happy camper! You’ve had lots of babysitters since dad and I are helping at youth group still. Some of the babysitters can’t believe how easy it is to put you down for the night! Generally it’s easy to put you down for naps too, sometimes we don’t even need to give you a soother!
You had your 4 month shots and the doctor weighed you being 16.4lbs.
You are now eating every 3 hours and can even go longer if you’re having a good nap! It feels much more freeing for me! You also don’t mind having a bottle, which is helpful for me too!
You love the jumperoo and the jolly jumper. You have really gotten the hang of jumping and can spend a lot of time in there! When you sit in your bouncy chair your leg movements get it bouncing and you love that!
You like talking to us and think you have great things to say! You have to keep up with your siblings! They still utterly adore you and let me know if I’ve missed a smile that they got to see! You have lots of smiles to share. You will basically smile at anyone who smiles at you!
You have stopped sucking your fingers and now prefer the soother, but you can’t get it in your mouth on your own yet, even though you try! You rolled once from tummy to back, but only once! When I put you on your belly, you usually just try to suck on the carpet, so tummy time is pointless right now! You are a very strong little boy though! Even the doctor commented about your strength when she was trying to give you your needle!
You are getting much more accurate at grabbing toys and using your hands to bring things to your mouth. We will really have to start watching which little toys are within your reach!
