Wren's 3rd Birthday
Wren was supposed to have his first day of nursery school on his birthday, but it happened that it was cancelled, so he chose to go to the park for his birthday activity! A bit chilly, but we had great fun until it rained! Went to the post office and the post master bought him 2 books from the used book sale there!! Meals consisted of Fruit Loops, macaroni, and mushroom soup (his choices). Daddy got to join us for supper and cupcakes! And then a glow-in-the-dark bath to end the night. Actually his snack of warmed frothed milk was the end. Then I interviewed him before saying good night:
Me: what's your favourite thing to eat?
W: Fruit Loops
M: and for lunch?
W: macaroni
M: and for supper?
W: mushroom soup
M: What's the best colour?
W: pink. But I don't colour with pink.
M: why not?
W: because Annalise ate the pink so I can't colour with it.
M: what's the best animal?
W: tiger
M: why?
W: because they roar and eat things. Like food. And maybe plungers. And do they sometimes eat hands?
M: no, I don't think so...
M: what's your Favourite thing to do?
W: I can't know.
M: what do you like to do when you are outside?
W: go to the trampoline
M: and what about when we are inside?
W: read books
M: What's your favourite book?
W: jake and the neverland pirate (the birthday book we had just finished reading)
M: What do you want to be when you grow up?
W: 5!!! And then I can go on a city bus with 2 guys
M: Who do you like to play with?
W: Alyssa
M:what's your favourite toy?
W: glow sticks (just had a glow in the dark bath)

Eye check up
Eyes look and see great! Grade A patient!! Thought I might let the optometrist know he could skip the pictures and go right to letters, but Wren had fun finding the birthday cake, the duck, and the 'fun car' (car with no roof).
