The Sun!!!

New sandbox, built by the best daddy ever!! Who wants to come for a play date??!
Loving the sun!
Watching daddy work!

My mommy says I have to try something 7 times before I know if I like it...but I'm pretty sure I don't like sand.

Wagon rides with the kitty

Wren's message

Wren says 'can you please come see my message?'
He did that all by himself while I was washing dishes! Proud momma moment.

And it starts...

Annalise had discovered cupboards and drawers... And everything in them!

But when you are this cute, how can you get mad ;)

Time for me to make wren an apron

I guess I should make wren a more masculine apron! Sorry for the blurry picture. Trying to get these two in the same picture is getting more and more difficult! Seconds after this was taken, Annalise walked to me ad wren ran in the opposite direction!

Getting a Tattoo

Wren loves his easter tattoos from Grandma Franzmann. We put one on nearly everyday! It's his job to count to 20 as we wait for the tattoo to be done! My favourite number right now is eleventeen!

Starting to play together

Cowboy Joe!

Wren wanted to be a cowboy like the "Little People Cowboy", so I dug out my old cowboy hat for him! A few more years before it will fit!

Easter at the Penner's

Colin making good use of his crop scouting drone...

Can't even tell the difference from this vantage point!

Teacher's son?!

Wren is very interested in matching things these days. This was his idea to match all these pieces with their colours, he also likes matching all the stacking cups in their own colours. It has also become very important to have matching cup and plate and bowl (and sometime cutlery) at meal times.

Annalise Walking

Annalise would be a full time walker by now if she could figure out how to stand up on her own! She loves to be walking!

Mess free painting!

I put some finger paint into bags and taped it down! Mess free painting! Thanks Pintrest!

Easter at the Funk's

"I'll drive!"

Eating our jello egg experiment!
Our jello egg experiment...took a few hours to make and a few minutes to devour!
Going on a picnic!
Dying Easter eggs...because they taste much better when the shell is blue, purple, red and yellow!
Funny story... I took Wren's shirt off so it wouldn't get dye on it. Next thing we knew, I turned around and Wren is in the buck! Auntie Lisa graciously lent him an art smock!

Cabin in Spring

Family pictures might be difficult as we can't even get these two to both look for a picture!

Daddy is already training Annalise to drive the grain cart!

Fun with tulle

Annalise's first tutu. And Wren got a fox tail! It's not actually tulle, but Dollarama's price was right.
