Meet Wren!

Lawrence (Wren) Jon Penner came into the world on October 20, 2012. He weighed 7 lbs, 8 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. He is healthy and happy (and so are his parents)! He is our gift from God and we  feel very blessed to have him in our lives! We are all getting used to life together and trying to catch as much sleep as possible...although the littlest Penner hogs most of the sleeping time! As Wren's Daddy puts it "our new little boss is pretty strict and can scream at us for the smallest infractions!"

Trouble...

For a youth event, we were encouraged to come dressed up as a board game. One of my co-workers came up with the clever idea of the Trouble board game using my tummy as the bubble! I started to think that this game might be an appropriate one for what's to come!

Getting Ready

The room is ready, the clothes are washed, the diapers are bought, the crib is bedded, the mamma is done work...now all we need is the baby!
We are getting very excited for our little one to embrace the world! At the same time trying to remember to enjoy every minute of the preparation process...including getting some rest before the big day.
